For many people networking can be utterly excruciating, and, as in all things, if you’re not actually very good at something you need to be able to do well as quickly as possible, it’s a good idea to ‘get someone in’ to help. Some people are natural networkers – but for the rest of us a bit of expert help is probably a good idea!
