Social Media is still uncharted waters. I also agree that Facebook deserves a certain amount of leeway. That being said.....Facebook is roughly the size of the third largest country in the world and it's policies could be compared to government rules and regulations. Any changes need to be communicated and the community must be taken into account. Are they a democracy or a dictatorship? Recently they have taken some good steps in the right direction to increase communication and make it easier to understand what our privacy options are.
